FTA on the Verge of Disaster?

Several indications point to the departure of several key, major companies in the coming weeks. So far FTA Syndication has not started off well, as it seems little, to no shows being picked up by other companies. These two factors could bring trouble to FTA.

Several tipsters also state the departure of someone with in the Admin/FCC team. No official announcements have been made at this time.

On another note, the Broadcasting Times is currently hiring several key positions. Applicants must apply via email.

Seems like BT is also on the verge of disaster

  2. Kathy Finkelmyer Says:

I’m worried that this will bring a end to FTA.

  3. Simon Says:

    LOL @ ID W/Held’s comment.

Who cares, let FTA end. Maybe it’s time. And hey, maybe some 12 year olds will start something up 3 years from now.

  4. Jimmy Sanders Enterprises Says:

Well, I may sell a station or two at some point as my schedule becomes busier, but I’m not going anywhere (not that I’m a major company, just thought I’d let people know).

  5. Derrick Says:

I’m not going anywhere either. I am in the process of completing an O&O graphics package.

It will be version 2 of the KQTH graphics.

Keep it here as WNLC will be the first to unveil the new graphics package.

  6. Deshawn Says:

FTA has been on the verge of Disaster for the better part of a year If we want to be speak truthfully.
FTA needs to finds what made it fun to be on FTA in the first place. That could mean doing away with some rules open the game up more to fantasy side and create better game play.
I do feel FTA Botched the new syndication model. Why should Invest a million a half dollar on a crap shoot when I can Invest that into building better stations.
Now to Kathy, ID W/held because they don’t want to man up to there comments and Simon. FTA has Issues that is true but to say were dead I wouldn’t say that I would say FTA is scare to try stuff outside the norm. If You believe FTA is dead close your company today and get lost because many companies big an has closed and it is still around for 5 years and many more after I wasn’t around during the geocites days. I joined during last couple of months on FTA 2 (the yabbers site in February of 2007)but during that Time I have seen amazing growth on FTA and Crazy issues too. FTA Can’t be that without it we love our drama here.

  7. The Other Derrick Says:

FTA has hit slow periods in the past, but they’ve never been this bad. I’m a bit uneasy about FTA’s future.

  8. Allegiant Says:

I agree with DeShawn on this one. We are not on the verge of ending imo, we are just having a slow period, i mean come on, we had one last year too remember? around this very time? With school starting back for most company owners, thats expected. Watch, when it gets closer to the Christmas holidays, I think there will be some revival.

  9. Moot Says:

I think that without ratings people aren’t really excited about it and will stop participating.

  10. Grammar Police Says:

Can we please type correctly? Don’t capitalize words that do not need to be capitalized. I’m mainly directing this towards one person…
